Come join us at Pepahim Island (Spit Island) for the 2026 West Coast Open! There will be a day of demos followed by competitions on Satuday and Sunday. Details below!

West Coast Wind Open Event Schedule August 28-30
Friday August 28 - Brand Demo Day
- Brand demos and product testing
- Start: 10:30 AM
- Brands:
- Ozone
- Naish
- Stinger Boards • North
Saturday August 29 - Kiteboarding Big Air & Freestyle Competition
- Skippers' Meeting: 10:30 AM
- Competition start: Wind dependent (announced at the skippers' meeting)
- Divisions:
- Men's Open
- Womens' Open
- Junior (Under 18)
- Competition Format:
- 12-minute heats
- Qualifiers, semi-finals, and finals (depending on the number of competitors)
- Judging Criteria:
- Competitors will be scored on their best three tricks
- 40% – Height
- 40% – Technical Difficulty
- 20% – Execution & Overall Impression
- Riders are encouraged to showcase a mix of Big Air and Freestyle, including both hooked-in and unhooked tricks.
- Awards Ceremony: Immediately following the competition.
Sunday August 30 – Speed Challenge & Slalom Racing
- Skippers' Meeting: 10:30 AM
- Competition Start: Wind dependent (final schedule announced at the skippers' meeting)
- Divisions:
- Kiteboard
- Windsurf
- Foil (Wing Foil, Parawing & Windfoil)
- Team Relay (1 Kiteboarder, 1 Windsurfer, 1 Foil Rider)
- Competition Format: A slalom course will be set using inflatable race buoys with an upwind mark and a downwind mark. Course layout and race format will be reviewed during the skippers' meeting based on the day's wind conditions.
- Awards Ceremony: Immediately following the competition.
