SWS Spit Orientation | June 25, 2016
Ready to ride at the Spit? Been a few times but still nervous? If you have completed your lessons and are ready to go out on your own come by and get some helpful information you need to ride safely. We will cover items such as site weather, hazards, launching and landing tips and right-of-way rules. Bring your questions!

We will post on KiteboardBC at 9 AM the day before if the event is cancelled due to poor weather conditions. This is a dry-land orientation of the Spit location, not a lesson.
SWS Presents Intermediate/Advanced Clinics with Pro rider Sam Medysky
The SWS would like to announce Pro rider Sam Medysky intermediate/advanced kiteboarding clinics. Sam will run 12 clinics this season including a few grom and ladies only sessions. The intermediate clinics may include: load and pop, rotations, jumping, transitions and the advanced clinics: unhooking, big air, trick/loops and more! The clinic will run a min. of 4 to a max of 6 riders for approximately 3 hours. The price is set at $50 per person going directly to Sam. Please check the booking link for all the dates.

Minimum riding ability:
You must have intermediate kiteboarding skills and have confidently launched/landed at the Spit. Also, you must be able to travel upwind with ease and have excellent board retrieval skills.
SWS Member/Daily fee
All participants must be a SWS season members or pay the mandatory daily fee.
Waiver
SWS will provide a waiver at checkin or you can download it during the registration process.
